the 1200 nits is only when the screen shows small portion, if it's displaying full screen images, it's below the X.

This is all I can say:

Congratulations to SAMSUNG for making the best hardware for the iPhone X AMOLED screen...

Congratulations to APPLE for their excellent software calibration to have the hardware the Best out of it...

Wow. This year the pixel and the X are beating Samsung flagships in their own game. I tell you there is already a revolutionary s9 In the making. We know what Samsung is capable of achieving after a failure.

Why don't you accept the fact that apple is good in calibrating their screens.. and base on the article it was stated that Samsung supply apple with their good amoled but apple perfected their screen calibration so whay keep complaining? hahahaha so much hatred huh

there was a saying "IT DOESNT MATTER WHO DID FIRST BUT WHO DID IT RIGHT"

I admire how Apple costumize the screen, makes better even better.
Good job Apple, waiting for GSMArena's test, and i hope Samsung learn from Apple how to calibrate display rightly! (Especialy the high gamma on Samsung's smartphone display)

How on Earth did Samsung make a panel for the iPhone X with the the highest score and their smartphone score way below the iPhone X????

[deleted post]Microsoft Lumia 950xl had the most bright and accurate display but it was cancelled.

Review places all showed it at 705 max auto nits. Of course displaymate ignored it.

AnonD-535480, 07 Nov 2017LMFAO... lots of salty android fans on this article, lol. ... moreThe irony, at least you can still buy popcorn.

Why am I not surprise, as long as it's the fruit logo. They'll say it's the most accurate blah blah blah. Everyone else is just second.

I'm just tired of the biased reportings. I can't forget a comparative article between a Galaxy S and an iPhone and even though the iPhone was thicker in dimensions than the Galaxy S the reporter said the iPhone is so and so (higher value) and the Galaxy S is so and so (lower value) 'THICK'. The word 'THICK' should have been stated for the iPhone seeing that the said reviewer listed the dimensions for both phones in the same breath.

A lot of commentors bashed that reporter dog scorn for being biased.
