You drop and crack that screen you will need to shed at least $500 which is almost 50% of original iPhoneX price. Even Apple care will not be able to help you fix the back or front screen at least ($350). I just can't believe that people will spent so much money for something that should be way cheaper. So that they can be trendy and be better than the others. SO who cares who has the best screen. The difference in quality is 5% maybe 10% in worst cases. Most phones today (Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony and even Huawei) have great specs. Save yourself time and money and buy reasonable priced phone. Something that will not cost you ($1500) down payment of a new or used car if you get it broken.

The Apple using a Samsung screen but with better performance than the Note8, is exactly like HTC using a SONY camera but with better performance than the Xperia Z1.
Or its like Qualcomm using Samsung's wafers, but getting a faster and more efficient SoC than the Exynos 8. We shouldn't be surprised it happened, we should simply applaud the company (in this case Apple) for pushing the quality another notch forward. Technological progress is a great thing.
