But on the other hand, htc makes dumm decisions on their own too....like removing 3.5 mm jack?!
You are android user base htc, hello? That is a no go.
They naively listened to dumm comments and opinions here and there too, its not about the camera, dual cameras, or the screen, or the bezeless design at all....
Its all about the "marketing", which includes putting your phones en mass on every single operators phonestores shelf, and incenting the sales in certain ways ...thats how Sammy does it. And Huawei joined in now.
Others dont seem to realize it.

HTC will greatly help their financial standing and sale numbers by making the newly released U11+ available worldwide in every market possible and also priced correctly. They finally addressed two of the thorny issues with this phone...even though for me personally i would've preferred this device to have a 16:9AR rather than the narrow elongated 18:9AR screen. But the almost 4000mAh battery is a huge plus plus, couple with the edge sense equal WINNER

Rokka, 09 Nov 2017Then can you tell me whose the better competitor here?That's the problem, there are too many weak manufacturers (Althought there are Huawei and Xiaomi, which, just like Samsung, may be far prom perfect, but at least have a few hits here and there). If some of them die out, maybe others will get better or new ones will arise.

They can do anything they want... I don't hate HTC, Sony, LG,etc for trying to make impact on the market with something new/unusual...
