android version 7.0 in s6 leaves 200mb free out of 3gb ram, and hangs for 10 to 15 minutes even if you only think to unlock it, i hope it will be hanged for whole month when it will run oreo version.

Are you giving credibility to a conversation with the support? I would not recommend it.
It could leave on a roadmap of a branch of Samsung, which was still better to be suspicious, because it arrives on time and the device does not receive (as happened with the Galaxy J5 2015, Galaxy J7 2015 and Galaxy On7 2015 regarding Android Nougat) .
Just be excited if Samsung issues a certification with the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Otherwise, it's best not!

THe first brings N 7.1.1 and UX8.5, and the second brings Secure Folder as a system app and ups the security level to August 5 (firmware ends in AQJ5)
The last update is only for Canada and USA (others only get AQJ1)
ALSO:
The Galaxy J3 got Nougat (with KRACK/November patch in Canada only). Yup, these two devices that costs about CAD200 got quite their load of major updates. Two or 3 years ago, you couldn't except even one update for mid-range Samsung phones. Their policy is really improving and it's only logical that their big phones get more Android upgrade sweetness. But I still wish the N4 and A5 2015 got Nougat.

Afterall, why keep your old phone if you can get a new one with an upgrade program. No extra charge for certain program. Your phone contract is only two years anyway. Be smart and grab all the ongoing promotion. Though, I know some just dont like the new smartphone looks. Your choice.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S-Pen from 2015 got Android Nougat this month! From Lollipop to Marshmallow to Nougat! And it's a budget tablet. Getting TWO major software update. So I really think Samsung is upping their game and will update the Galaxy S6 to Oreo.
