ihrehaan, 10 Dec 2017Where the hell is S8S8 is not there because they dont want add a crap. From each brand there was one phone. Apart from J7 pro which is samsung and the only budget phone included.
They also didnt add Moto X4 for example.

I'd Sony projection 3LCD & I've Samsung LED internal satellite receiver & my experience:
Sony projection 3 LCD vs Samsung
1. watching movies with Sony! My eyes were relax even though low light was the only lack
2. Watching movies with Samsung! My eyes weren't relax even though period of watching wasn't more than 1.5 hour

Can that joke get any fun... moreAnd if the iPhone's screen is really that good, then why did the XZ Premium managed to take one of the spots in the top 10 instead of the 8 Plus? Only the X has "good" screen out of any iPhones, yet we know how terrible its color shifting it.

Then DisplayMate crowns a Samsung and Apple phone as the best display of the year. Of course DisplayMate has no other choice of the best screen but the Samsung and/or Apple because of the lack of enough testing.
Even DxOMark only gives scores but doesn't necessarily crown one, because they know themselves that they haven't tested all smartphones in the world to immediately give a title to something.

I tried the Z5 Premium myself, too, and like you, I never owned it. But it definitely has an amazing display that's ahead of its time. Brightness, colors, contrast, sharpness, clarity, all of them are impressive on the Z5 Premium even without HDR. XZ Premium just takes that insane screen quality to a whole new level.
I'll not bother about comparing the iPhone 7 Plus's screen to the Z5 Premium, it's mediocre to be competitive enough, let alone the XZ Premium, which also destroys the iPhone 8 Plus. iPhone X only got close to the XZ Premium because of OLED, but they're incomparable, the XZ Premium is just that good, only its successor could beat it.

Mi Max 2 looks like the winner but when you look at the terrible endurance rating it suddenly turn you off. Then, there is the J7 Pro surprisingly have better color accuracy than its flagship counterpart, Note8 and even the iphone X. I would had go with Mate 10 Pro but J7 Pro seems to have better endurance rating and better sunlight legibility too. But for an overall screen specs winner, Razer is very well balance. Unfortunately, Razer low endurance rating not going to let you enjoy all that screen for too long and not to mentioned how pricey it is.
