What I consider compact is the ability to use the phone with one hand. I could use even samsung note series with one hand, but it doesn't mean it would be comfortable. XZ1 compact is the only truly compact phone of all these, next comes iPhone SE which is even smaller. One hand operation is determined by width, and is very good on almost any phone with up to 65-66 mm

Sorry guys but this was supposed to be about "compact" flagships... However, there are phones like S8, G6, etc which are definitely not considered to be "compact" phones.

Look the s8 is much better because first, the s8 has infinity display like all phones do ,second,the s8 has iris scanner ,fingerprint , and facial recognition , ip68 water resistant.
I understand that all of you like different companies but the fair is fair

yeah i guess thats about right i would say the s8 is up there as one of the compack phones as it is not that large and it packs 5.8 screen cant say that about any other phone

using gsmarena's phone finder i searched for maximum height of 130mm and year 2017. result is: sony xz1 compact, nokia 3310 (that's a feature phone).... i don't see any samsung models. so unless "compact" means something totally different im not sure why you guys choose s8. i actually sold my s8 because it was too long for me and the balance in hands is a bit "off" and bought a sony compact

XZ1 compact is 20cm less tall than the S8, why Gsmarena doesn't category XZ1 compact into the MINI group but steal the XZ1 compact crowns for S8?! That's not funny, Gsmarena!
