[deleted post]Sorry, what i meant to say is: How can you say that those phones are compact phones? The only compact phones on that list are the Iphone and the Xperia Compact. The rest are large phones. Not phablets, but stil large phones.

Gsma is very known for their biased view towards Sony. Basically if Sony earned some merit, gsma will do everything in their power to discredit them.

Anything above is either regular, either phablet.

Galaxy S8 for love, o own a Pixel 2 XL but before my Pixel I had a S8 and I can just say S8 is the King. A bit heavy and slow because if TouchWiz but seriously S8 is a beast.

S8 is not a compact phone as many people have mentioned but even it it would have say "Note 8" Samsung would still have won.

But, Yep there should be some critery of what is considered what.
But is I have to chose what compact car is better. Three wheel 10 horsepower mini car or 8 tons weight Hummer... the Hummer win if They actually belong to the same small car gategory.

If people didn't think S8 wasn't compact then it wouldn't have made the top spot.
Whether it is actually compact or not is irrelevant. Though I would've liked for XZ1 compact to win. But Americans probably have something against Sony (may be somewhat justified), MKBHD also completely ignored Sony completely.

Let's compare their dimensions then:
S8 - 5.86 x 2.68 x 0.31 inches
Pixel 2 - 5.74 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches
XZ1 Compact - 5.08 x 2.56 x 0.37 inches
LG G6 - 5.86 x 2.83 x 0.31 inches
iPhone 8 - 5.45 x 2.65 x 0.29 inches
Xiaomi Mi6 - 5.72 x 2.78 x 0.29 inches
Huawei P10 - 5.72 x 2.73 x 0.27 inches
As clearly we can see it is the XZ1 Compact and the iPhone 8 are considered compact based on their dimensions. And it is also clear that the S8, P10, G6 and Mi6 are hardly compact.
