    this technology might still be premature and will cause a lot of issues. That's why Samsung stayed away from this

        so how do you access the phone? put your finger on the screen and viola access the phone? or you need to push the power button and put your finger on the screen before accessing the user interface?

              Really...it's a no-brainer.

                Now it should, hopefully, maybe one day have the capability?

                As of today a front fingerprint scanner is a much better usable option than FaceID

Plenty of counter-intuitiveness to have your finger scanned day in , day out , just to unlock your phone. I think you live in the opposite universe...

                    Point is that depth ID is millions of times better than any form of active ID ... its only problem is that it is new so it has some bugs that would be ironed out. Even now it's much better (honestly it's refreshing to have your phone wake up "automagically") in most occasions , imagine what would happen when all the bugs are solves ... basically would want the decrepit fingerprint scanner.
