Well, blue light filter on lcd ia horrible anyway, base on other phone that has it, it hurt the eye more than helping it, oled may be good to have the blue light filter since it can turn off the pixel, and maybe save the life of the blue pixel

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2018I think blue light filter is horrible and never use it. Nev... moreNeither does it to me.
The only way I could actually sleep well at night after using my phone is having a really low brightness screen.
I wish to have OLED for its pure black (so any screen dimming apps will work well) but its screen issues keep me staying away, especially burn in and the Diamond PenTile matrix.

This feature is now standard on most Android phones. Sony is going backward.

Good.
Enough with this nonscientifical blue light damage marketing nonsens, that can actually damage your screen, and not your eyes.

I think it is ok, if you want yellow or orange looking displays, you can always grab one of the many available

Smart move.
Those who don't need the feature, they have it out of their software and get some saved storage and also improve overall device's stability and performance.
Those who need it, Play Store offers thousands of similar apps that does the same thing, and again, when not needed, can be uninstalled and save some free storage space, and again, improve device's stability and performance.

What they are doing with Factory Startup bug in Xperia phones after update to Oreo? My Xperia XZ shows popup of Factory Startup and than power off button appears on screen and it force me to turn the phone off. There is no update received after that. Can anyone tell how to fix this issue?
