This is clearly a bias and inaccurate report from the selfie generation, i mean come on S8 is better then note 8? IPhone is top of the pile? I love my note 8 but there are some big cameras from Huawei, LG and google that should be sitting higher then apple devices, fact......the ONLY thing going for apple cameras is colour reproduction which is in fairness very accurate.....im currently in Nicaragua photographing volcanoes and have iPhone x and note 8 and in 80% of the shots the note is better, these consumers tests should be done blind to remove brand favouritism....i would probably rank google pixel 2 as the best camera i have used to date

But it can not match pixel 2's... moreSince I've never got the plus version iphone...cannot vouch for it's portrait capabilities but for image quality especially low light, it's hard to beat the iphone 8 since you can achieve a picture without going above iso 200 unless it's pitch black darkness.

The result shows the problem in itself. Users can not compare results side by side. Low level of Google pixel is not there because of its low level of users.

the consumer reviews is not accurate since they are not camera professional. They only make profit from electronics and gadgets. I saw so many phone camera battle, and iphone x not that good.

How could they ignore pixel 2, mate 10, lg v30? I think pixel 2 has the best camera. Either these reports are fake or they are biased towards apple and samsung

If survey really based on users only then this result is genuine. Because most of the iphone user are deeply in apple eco system and they do not know for which to compare. Most of them have not even tasted other company phones. And if this survey was done in USA then majority of user are either Apple or Samsung user. And also apple user WHO has become isheep(More you pay for iphone more bigger isheep they become) will never let down iphones. So these survey result are obvious.
If these survey has done by only experts then there is something going on which is not good for consumers who follow these results.

The pixel is a hdr camera. That does not make it good, it does not even have any manual control or allow raw photos. You can achieve the pixel's results with proper bracketing when needed. On the other hand, the iphone 8 or X (Same camera) has amazing raw photos with no abnormalities or distortions. I have not used a samsung so I cannot tell it's quality but the s9 on paper seems promising. Huawei also seem good.
There is also Lg who had an amazing G4 and G5 camera which only lacked higher quality glass/ lens but they went for a crappy smaller sensor on their newer G6 and V30 with significant downgrade in image IQ/ quality.
Hdr is a joke to anyone that is not a layman.

Bias. Seriously, Pixel phones have the best HDR capability camera ever created.
