I don't think this never been problem, they don't want to release phones too close each other to eat sales of another.
They might release it earlier because S9 sales aren't anywhere near what Samsung wanted them to be so they need help.

If anything it shows they can produce the phones faster than normal which means they far more into development than 1st thought.

When you look that front page TOP 10 BY DAILY INTEREST it's very easy to see how deep problems Samsung have, interest for any new galaxies propably never been this low and this fast.
Sametime huawei and others are releasing those amazing new flagship phones which feels new and fresh.
I also don't think Note 9 won't help Samsung much, notes never been any hot seller phones.

If you are going to have a phone with the largest screen size like this with all the insides of graded you better have at least 4,000 milliampere battery not no stupid 3200 milliamp battery it wouldn't make any sense you want a phone that last long from morning to night with extra power. You want a phone that that we can use not just look at the screen only and wished you can play with it I am sick and tired of you manufacturers doing butt wipe with the equipment you are trying to sell to make money

Do people really flip flop between iPhones and Android phones as regularly as websites like GSMA make out? Its a big enough ballache switching all your crap between 2 similar phones, let alone 2 completely different ones.

if Samsung doesn't include in screen fingerprint scanner I don't buy it! cuz it's another dull smartphone with same design language without any innovation! plus I believe they can do it it's just their market control strategy! which is absurd! how come Huawei can implement it and make a sleek phone but Samsung can't with all the production assets and R&D they have!

Note9 wont be much upgrade over Note8 except for better camera and some more spen features so if S9 was not able to sell as samsung expected then I dont see Note9 selling great and besides huawei P20 Pro just destroyed the smartphone camera department Samsung better up it if wants Note9 to sell better than S9
