Arif238, 23 Apr 2018Does it have LPDDR4X RAM in 4GB variant like in Xiomi Note ... moreNot sure about the RAM type but it shouldn't be more than 1333MHz since SD636 can support only upto 1333MHz LPDDR4X.

Does it have LPDDR4X RAM in 4GB variant like in Xiomi Note 5 Pro?
And also what is the frequency of RAM used in Asus Zenfone max Pro M1?
And give me the name of that person who did naming for this device , seriously is it a address of someone's home 😂

Go and see P2 page if don't believe this...BTW I look for an upgrade of my P2, not comparing it with Asus M1 in terms of processor, software or camera..

On the other hand i have had 3 Redmi Note 3, 1 Redmi 3s, 3 Mi A1 in my family. I am only a fan of bang for the buck phones no matter which brand provides it.
And now i find Zenfone Max Pro to be the best phone in it's price range. It beats other phones by miles. If i will need to buy another phone in distant future for someone in family, i will get a 6gb variant of Zenfone

KartKN, 23 Apr 2018No bro, I have got Lenovo P2... No device woulld give such ... moreI have a Lenovo P2 in home. My mom has it. I would certainly rate Asus Zenfone Max Pro better than P2.
Same battery life, better processor, better rear and front cameras, better RAM (latest ddr4x upto 6gb), better storage, better dedicated slots, better software, better os support, lesser price.
Only thing that isn't as good in Zenfone is display(that too depends as AMOLED panel in P2 isn't great, it's low quality Samsung panel with yellowish tinted screen), so if someone likes good IPS panels more they will like display on Zenfone better.
And charger isn't as fast like P2, but that also isn't a strength of P2 as it ridiculously overheats while charging. On touch it feels like it will burst into flames.

1.The launch video & all unboxing video youtubers say it has got 10W(5V@2A) charger.
2.Zenfone has metal frame on the side and Plastic body on the Top & bottom, go and check unboxing videos pls.
3.Just go through link goo.gl/VQhG2r for the photo samples of Asus M1 and you can tell about those blurry night shots and too noisy & detail less daylight shots provided by Asus during lanch event. pleas note this samples were given by Asus without any tweak.
4.There's no sort of glass protection in Asus M1 but RN5Pro got unspecified version of gorilla glass..something is better than nothing!!

yeah I agree, the bezel sizes are same in both RN5Pro and ASUS M1.. Before I read in someother source which said the hight of this device was 161mm..

Let the 6GB varient come and we'll discuss in detail about the 16MP camera..

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2018No man they will give snapdragon 845 for you. Better still!

SD 636 supports fast charging so would 3rd party fast chargers work?

gauravnartam, 23 Apr 2018You have already bought the RN5P,didn't you?No bro, I have got Lenovo P2... No device woulld give such a fantastic battery performance (efficiency + Charging ability @24Watts for 5K mAh)...I thuoght this device would come with at least 15-18watts charger so that I could upgrade my P2 but Asus disappointed me with micro usb and 10Watts charger...I was left with the choice of RN5Pro and later got to know about Asus M1 as alternate choice to RN5pro however this one disappointed too...

It's a bit amusing to see Pixel "purists" hedging arguments on why the Pixel is great. Unfortunately their spam is affecting reviewers to look for the wrong things, I think. IS it good with a massive amount of post-processing or not? The only way to get a good result with a bad sensor is to guess what to remove or enhance, i.e. use massive post-processing.
Jump to something like an iPhone or Galaxy S review and suddenly the purists are arguing that the Pixel is better because it doesn't ruin pictures with post-processing... :)
This is why I've stopped reading reviews on sites like Android Police, Android Central or Android Authority. They creating facts based on their personal convictions. Don't even mention places like Engadget or The Verge. Those are lost beyond any help.

For some it is a deal breaker while some dont care about it.
