Samsung smartphones are selling because they look like iPhone. They won't sell shitloads if they look differently. And even worse, those Samsung iPhone copycats are hurting the sales of the genuine iPhones. So Apple have all the rights in the world to sue Samsung. You can't steal from some other company and just get away so easily.

If Apple is winning, then Sammie is guilty. This isn't about Apple's desperation; it's about Apple's property. At this point, it's obvious Sammie stole copyrighted material. Sammie should regroup, address the issue *across the board* before bringing the GS2 or the tablet to The States.

Ban should be around the world. Samsung design for all their smartphones and tablets are copy cat of Apple's iPhone and iPad. That's one thing I admired Sonyericsson phones having the most beautiful and sexy designs aside from offering quality phones. Come on Samsung, you need to spend your millions for your R&D not copy other's design.

If this was a Chinese copy cat copmany no one would care, but it's very shameful that a huge player like samsung still copies like crazy from apple! It just shows how cheap they really are, instead of trying to be original.
Look at how original Nokia and SE are for example. Also, Moto and HTC may not be that original but still you can notice the difference in these phones. But when it comes to samsung my god it's like a clown of the iphone! And I'm not speaking only about looks but the UI as well.
Just go take a look at the bada UI, it's a complete ripoff of ios! So, yes samsung are the ones to be blamed for stealing designs, UI's and patents.
When you steal and it becomes a habit just watch your back because you won't continue stealing for ever, you'll be caught one day.

i don't know if samsung copy apple or not but somehow samsung devices are look alot alike to apple, samsung should have done something better,,,I really like the tablet from sony,really cool and different,,,y don't samsung sth that different like sony???

The patent system needs radical change first of all - that it should not allow mere common things like rectangular shape, thickness eligible for any registration. And German court is dork.

The funny part is everyone is hating on Apple for suing, stopping innovation and not allowing the flow of new product developments. But think about it. Is it really Apple?
The ones who are REALLY doing this is Samsung and all the other manufacturers who's causing Apple to sue. If they just came up with something different, there would be NO grounds to sue on!
The courts decision is the courts decision whether you like it or not. Its time you learn, Sammy.
