At least they should use 14nm processer, why still use 28nm processer in 2018?

I mean these are budget smartphones, and best of all they're Android One, and a Go phone.
They're low-end and yes there's already other phones out there, but they aren't Android One phone.

Sure one can go with xiaomi (A1), but are there any other Android One phones out there besides A1? Even better is that you can buy these phones in a store ( bestbuy, Walmart).

Something is really off with the design team. Somehow Nokia 2.1 with 16:9 screen has better screen to body ratio than Nokia 3.1 with 18:9 screen. And 2.1 even has front firing speakers.

completely unnecessary cell phones, of which there are hundreds. Therefore Nokia doesn't mean anything.

First check whats an android go mean for they gives a smooth perforrmance on even 512 mb ram to 1 gb ram they are mean to support low budget phones. First search on internet all apps for android go edition have a word GO on there title which are low memory edition apps e.g Youtube GO, GMail GO, Maps GO, Files GO.
The main thing for smooth performance is the processor which is snapdragon 425 and its really very good for android go edition phones and don't forget its having monster battery of 4000 mah as well as its having a dedicated memory card slot not hybrid

Testy , 30 May 2018In what sense?Design wise, they're the same. But I feel that Nokia 5 users don't need to upgrade the newer 5.1 because of similarity (except the chipset and width).
Price is also the same. Maybe gamers or some chipset lovers would buy this and ditch their Nokia 5.

FromChinaWithLove, 30 May 2018Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and now the new Nokia 5.1 as well Nokia 3.... moreI see. Thanks for the explanation.

Testy , 30 May 2018I actually live in the UK and I think (if I'm not mistaken)... moreNokia 5, Nokia 3 and now the new Nokia 5.1 as well Nokia 3.1 won't be available in the US.

I think the reason that they're not available in the US is because they're kind of similar and their prices are pretty close.

I mean sure there's noticeable difference between those phone. But, if there's a Nokia 6( and now the 6.1), the Nokia 5 does seems to be pointless as the pricing are too close.

As for the Nokia 3, I think that's not a good marketing for the Nokia 2 if the Nokia 3 are also available as well.

I mean If you can add 10, 20 or 30 dollars more for a much better one, why would anyone want to buy a Go phone?

Is it me or is the 2.1 quite bulky looking? Surely that's gonna put some people off? Hard to say though without seeing it in person.

Why 4000 mAh battery is still not so common even in 2018 ??

So, one's would understand why there's no fingerprint scanner in these budget phone. While that's not so disappointed, but the USB instead type-C did show its shortcoming!

And as for the previous comment/reply.
While the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 are not officially available in the US, but the Nokia 6 and Nokia 2 can purchase from B&H, and/or Amazon, bestbuy and Walmart for the Nokia 6. So, as for a back up phone, it isn't bad as all. Especially for Nokia 2, and it priced for only $99 USD, it sure is a perfect back up phone, or just for all small needs.

Anyone agrees with me that the old Nokia 5 was better than the newer ones?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I'm still really surprised that they never added USB C for the 3.1 and even more so for the 5.1. They should've also added a finger print reader on the 3.1. Oh well.
