Sony effectively asking Xperia XZ2/XZ1 users facing display issues to just deal with problem

Users have been complaining about horizontal lines and white dots that show up when touching or rubbing the screen by finger.

    My unlocked XZ1 do not have this issue. I am so happy with its super sharp, high contrast and vibrant display I can't wait for the 4K XZ2 Premimum to be released. Also vey frequent up-to-date firmware updates and WiFi performance is second to none in the Android realm.

      This pisses me off. They clearly said that the lines would fade away. Sony support was always excellent, why would they fix something if it would fade away? I've had a samsung and I had dots on the display and they refused to fix it because it never faded away.

        I used to be a big Sony fan, but since the digitiser on my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact decided to pack in without warning, I knew there was no going back to them. Their quality isn't on par with those around them or even the cheap Chinese phones. Disappointing from such a big brand.

          phew almost consider getting sony phone this year, hm now the only phone i consider to get is samsung s9 plus (maybe note 9), huawei p20 pro (because the camera duh), and vivo nex s (well you know why)

            This team is hilarious! How it is even possible?
            Even Chinese cheap phones doesn't deliver such "experience"!
            Thanks that my XZP doesn't show such behavior till now.

We're talking about the screen on the Sony XZ1 and XZ2 models. Samsung is terrible at solving issues but Apple is the best really. ;p lol.

                    This has been a known display problem for over a year now. And typical Sony, as always, just denies the problem.

                    But history has shown us that eventually Sony will admit the problem, but do nothing about it.
