AnonD-17348, 26 Sep 2011Leave aside the Galaxy range of phones and tablets for a mo... moreActually, Bada is like the mix of TouchWiz they used in the Omnia HD and Omnia I and II which were there before Samsung put TouchWiz on Androids. If you're talking about how they are similar "looking" that's obviously because Samsung use TouchWiz on both Bada and Android.

Have you used a Bada phone before? The UI is quite different from Android.

the sudden surge of new windows phone by htc and samsung is obviously in anticipation of nokia's own windows phone. windows phone are still new and many people are still reluctant to buy one, only the worldwide introduction of nokia's windows phone and subsequent campaign will help and samsung and htc are going to ride the wave if it is successful.

This does not look like an iphone, some of u are just trolling lol. This isn't their galaxy line ;)
Still, ugly design esp when compared to the sleek and smooth design of Nokia's debut WP.

Don't agrre, it's not an iphone. And I am the first to criticize Samsung for the lack of design. I want an Android, and I won't take GSII because of its poor design IMO. But this...this is a design I like. I don't think it's a copy of Iphone.

But ok, price is far too high, especially for the poor 8GB inside. Specification...well, it semms that WP7 is really really fast and responsive even on 1GHZ single-core, so with 1.4, it is not an issue. Let's see battery life.

Well, I'm far from a Samsung fan (far far...), but I d'ont understand your violent reactions, especially on the design.

HTC have their own, SE have their own, Nokia have their own. Samsung, on the other hand: everything iPhoney. I can't understand why they can't design their own phones.

I guess this phone will seem outdated, in terms of specs for Android lovers... And charging 450 € for it just because of Mango update wont work.. What is Samsung thinking??? They are not Apple...

If it has got M$ or iOS on board....
...I will never touch it.....even if you give it to me free.

Sorry, but bad experiences and proprietary limitations of use are not something I want to pay for on mobile devices.

Can't we have a smaller, power-packed Galaxy instead? I don't want to carry a roof slate!
