The RAM department is Sony's weakness. 4GB should be enough if you don't play any crazy games. But better to get the 6GB of ram one.
However the other comes to loves Sony, there's no denies that their pervious flagship that comparing to the same flagship are pretty lacked behind, especially the RAM. Even if the chip is fine to run most things, but the ram can't catch up with it. And that you'll hated it yourself to rush in without wait for any review.

Why does it look bigger than asus zenfone max pro and redmi note 5 even though this sony phone is 1mm shorter than the other 2

Sony's design is almost the same as Fabula Design from Nokia. I love it. This one looks a lot like the Lumia 730.

I bought for my mother XA2 and the phone is very good and impressive even the battery is doing a great job.
So go for it :)

Ooh Sony... How heartless can you be? I never wanted to use a Sony flagship and midrange at the same time. It was suppose to be XZ2 and Redmi note 5.
Sony goofed off and now We are having a midrange "Lord Of the Phones".
Considering it now to be XZ2 and XA2P.
Damn. Damn. Damn. Daaaaaaaaamn IT.
Oh please I don't want a Sony Flagship/Midrange at the same time(Not for any product either).

I will sue Sony one of these days.
The design the XZP could have been(side FPS), the long awaited successor to Z Ultra. Welcome to the world baby.

I'm same as you, tempted to get it but there is also the Nokia 7 plus which has a bigger battery and better chipset.
Hope Sony wouldn't ask too much for the price.

What is it with Sony that they save their best designs for their budget phones? If the XZ2 Premium looked like this phone (with the same 5.7" 16:9 display), I'd actually consider buying it.

18:9. This is the middleground. I hope Sony does this in the future and leaves the Ultra at 16:9 6". We know this will be close to the same size as the XA1 Plus. Either way, I wish they used another processor.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2018SD 630 and even worse 32GB ROM.....?/##!!!!?Well, it is a mid range phone, so the chip is fine. As for the internal memory storage, don't expect too much for Sony. Cause Sony is like the Apple in Android when comes to storage, their late 2016 flagship phone xperia XZ only got 32GB ( and that's the official US version).
