Although in general terms I agree with your point, on the other hand if you go through all or as many as you can Sony phone related posts here, you will find numerous times comments about the price ie "too expensive", "over-inflated" "X brand offers the same performance at lower price" etc. This indicates that had the price been lower they would have considered it. Does it correlate with the car example that the other user referred to?

None of them got damaged by accidental dropping or a simple water splash! None of them bend in the pocket! Great quality really and low price. All six have BIG 4000mAh - 5300mAh sealed batteries, which your Sony doesn't have. All six have IR blasters, FM radios, and excellent MIUI customizations, software updates and very smooth, stutter free user interface which your Sony doesn't have. You shoud try buying and owning one for yourself instead of searching Youtube for unrealistic torture tests so you do not end up stereotyping phones like Xiaomi as nothing but cheap and low quality. I don't want to post you numerous Youtube samples of Sony ip68 phones failing water tests and other torture tests because I have nothing against Sony. You can always search them on YouTube yourself - keyword: 'Sony Xperia fail' Just please don't stereotype a phone like Xiaomi as nothing special but some cheap brand, because you are seriously wrong. Cheap, maybe but feature packed and excellent build for the price you get. It gives Sony flagships a run for the money.

          Still waiting for final results, and using Xperia phones u must always change resolution to 12mp for fair comparison to other flagship phone (Most flagship use 12mp). 19mp is advantage on details but noise are higher.

            Dont know about ceramic body Mi Mix.

            Mi 8 never established as waterproof, no ip rating at all. But still sturdy and very good spec for the price.

            Stop with these useless bashing to other brands. Even i never use Xiaomi phones, they provide good built quality phones, good performance on best price. No matter how u try to prove things, results speak for itself, and thats why Xiaomi on top 5 phone sales in the world.

              I found a full-resolution photo comparison between XZ2 Premium, G7 ThinQ and P20 Pro. Honestly I'm not impressed with its performance under medium lighting conditions.
              It looks comparable to P20 Pro in extreme low light, but I could've performed better.

Even midrange Xiaomi's costing 1/4 the Xperia flagships have bigger, better, longer lasting batteries (> 4000mAh), have better theming options that theme everything you see on the phone's UI, have ir blaster (remote control function) which the Sony doesn't have, have FM radio, and have excellent software update support even if you don't have the Android One release (Mi A1, A2). So no, it's not just the price. Even the build quality of midrange Xiaomi's are excellent.

                            I personally like Sony, they’re awesome, but you shouldn’t take shots at Apple and Samsung when they both have destroyed Sony phones with their own tech for the last few years. The DAC is also nice for listening music. But yeah the camera itself could be a big bigger, maybe this will be the case in the V40 in the autumn I don't know, but the mics are great.

                                    Number one is for now Samsung followed by Apple then Huawei Xiaomi is 3rd and Oppo is number 5 in top sales.
                                    Sony is nowehre it was in past in present they make expensive devices maybe a quality ones but they barely sells. Thats not good for profit.
                                    Instead of Xiaomi which sells millions of devices for a price everybody would like on other comanies phones like Sony Samsung Apple etc.
                                    And the last thing. In past Xiaomi were Quantity over Quality in present Xiaomi offers a lot of Quantity but quality as well.
                                    I am speaking of my customer exoerience as i am a worker of one of largest mobile phone retailers (seller) companies in my country in Slovakia. .
