Wish just mics were on par with that, with 3D stereo and without distortion. I got such and its years old phone. Feels like mics are not getting upgrade, I mean on any brand.

Having root capabilities means you are in full control of your SMARTphone.
It means you are no longer using your phone as a normal user with restricted access, but as ADMINISTRATOR. Got that?
It means I can modify the OS for my needs and taste, delete unwanted system files, add files of my own etc.
Mainly I use the root capabilities for testing scripts in bash, that I write, studying this sort of things, getting my way through Android and Linux.
I am interested per example on how exactly a Java or C++ program that I write straight on my phone is using the buffer memory or the stack, or the heap memory.
This is called Programming in case you didn't know.
I've never used illegal apps as I make my own to do what I want. I use my brain.
So before accusing someone of this sort of things, try to understand that having root is NOT for using illegal apps. Who in the world left you with this moronic idea?
ROOT is NOT for stealing apps lmao, it's for having FULL control of your SMARTphone.
Go study, you're clearly out of your league on this subject.

Ppl here are jealous because Galaxy and Iphone cant do it.
They will have to copy AUBE next year, till then Sony will be using something stronger...
All these stuff comes from Alpha and Cybershot : 4K, 4K HDR, 960fps, anti-distortion shutter, shutter button, hybrid AF, steadyshot
As long Alpha Team keeps creating new stuff, there will be more stuff to port to smartphone..

Start supporting developers and artists instead of trying to use their work/products for free (which translates to stealing)!

I'm very excited about 4k hdr recording... And of course new image stabilization process too.
The sample videos are impressive...
In my opinion Sony putted on the desk an another real innovative solution for mobile video recording. I hope I can try it as soon as possible.

Absolutely no smartphone brand produces low light photos and low light videos that are not GARBAGE in terms of real detail and true quality when the ISO is above ISO 800. For Sony to advertise up ISO 51200 in photo capture and up to ISO 12800 in video capture without telling the user the quality is actually garbage and unusable at those ultra high ISO's and even at the much lower ISO 1600 is plain DECEPTION and FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING.
