TooCold, 12 Jul 2018I'm completely against overly aggressive fake OIS/EIS combo... moreOIS+EIS combo always works better than having EIS only because OIS corrects most of the shakiness and EIS doesn't have to move the frames around as hard. P20 Pro and XZ2 exihibits jitterings in low light because they only rely on EIS, while S9, OP6 and U12+ don't. The details also tend to be a bit weaker when only using EIS.

More light means clarity of the picture.
when light its a dark place, the picture will show the spots were dark being illuminated and there won't be any noise. Most of the noise was coming because the picture were in a dark scene.
It's like our natural eyes mechanism, we don't see anything but how we see ??? Because the light enters our retina then we see every were

SONY has been such a let down to me...it hurts. It really hurts.
Did you know that you can only send text using one SIM on these useless dual SIM X2 devices, cause SONY decided that you only need to use one SIM for text, or that you can only use one ring tone for both SIMs on a dual SIM phone cause SONY decided that's how it should be, or that you get no OIS cause SONY decided that's how it should be.

This is great because it shows no need for OIS that people chant for it honestly the companies who go for OIS, doesn't know how to think outside the box.

Higher ISO = More light collected in the same period of time as compared to lower ISO
Because of more light being collected at around the same shutter time, it allows the sensor to lessen the amount of time to capture things, which inevitably also eliminates the possibility of motion blur, which the OIS is pretty much doing.

Now try to record 4K at night with P20 Pro. Can't even point what's worse. The lack of EIS or much lower bitrate video ( barely pass 30Mbps, while XZ2 has almost 60Mbps)

"For still images, the camera system is able to go up to ISO51200. The description on YouTube says the XZ2 Premium is "engineered to capture detail beyond what the human eye can see". That's because human eye can only see ISO1600."
It's as wrong as saying that humans can't see more than 30 fps. A proper way would be to describe values in EV or nits, but not in ISO. Who's the source of this claim? Why to use sensivity value, which gives no real info about captured light?
