What about forcing the Apple empire to let people install open source apps and choose another default browser different than Safari?
They don't say a f**kn word about Apple.

This commission is trying to pretect EU citizens from abuse and yet some people would rather side with huge companies like google instead. As if these companies gave any damn about you. Brain washed ?

And most of these manufacturer installed apps cannot be removed. Yes, they can be disabled. But they cannot be removed. It is part of their system. Samsung has been notorious all these years in this.

Seeing all the remarks on Google I still can't understand what have they done wrong.Android is basically a open source with massive advantage to every manufacturers out there for almost free.Google invests billions of dollars on android to maintain and develop it from play store to newer versions. It seems just fair to put some rules when you are giving a product for free so that your product doesn't transform into something you don't want.
It's like lending a car to a friend you may give it for free but don't allow him to damage it.The friend who is getting your car shouldn't complain for not being able to transform or even damage your car after all it's your car not his.

It's sad to see there's no action against Apple because Apple is actually the dirtiest Company on this planet. the day that Apple falls is really one of the best days, no more FOXCON, no more suicides, slavery, starving, breaking the economy of multiple countries, no more tax stealing, and much more horrible stuff, which Apple causes.

I agree on the fine for one reason - google doesn't let it's users chose if they want the maxi gapps or nano gapps. For that one has to go to custom roms and have their bootloaders unlocked for twrp and other stuff.

It's not just about Chrome. Google has prevented manufacturers wishing to pre-install Google apps from selling even a single smart mobile device running on alternative versions of Android that were not approved by Google (so-called "Android forks"). So, if you want to make and sell an e.g. Lineage phone and an Android phone at the same time, you can't. That's not very fair.

That would be a job for the US FTC, but that commission is all run by Big Corp money, so it will never happen.

What about apple. They force customer to use safari, even when you download chrome for IOS, when you tap on any link in an email or text message it forces you to safari.
