Their pricing was terrible even for western markets like thr UK. There was no reason to spend thr same money and get a HTC than a Samsung, iPhone or Pixel. HTC mobile division will disappear within s couple years

This company is so arrogant that they think they are like Apple or Samsung. Terrible pricing of their product with low quality and features. Who they think their company are ? This is almost unknown company specially with this generation. Why would they buy a product in which, the Chinese offers exactly the same (or better) what they have offering with more affordable or reasonable pricing, or in a premium segment, why would they buy in those who does have only a little knowing or doesn't have a brand naming value at all? I wise man will not! No wonder why they facing such this. :)

So no, I will not get it for anything less than the original announced price. I don't complain about every phone's price. 7+ is so good and is very reasonably priced. But I don't think X6 deserves a $300 price tag.

I have tried other phones still haven't found a perfect ui from other brands that matches HTC sense. I still look forward to buying their phones wish they could scroll back check where the mistakes came from and adjust. I miss their browser, calender and especially gallery. I had to down load piktures app to replace it but not so close.

                    Too bad HTC.....

I have used couple of HTC Devices... And both the Phones are still working even after 6 Years... One of them was my Favorite HTC EVO 4G LTE with Kick Stand...

Well... HTC seems to have never realized the Market flow and continued to offer Lower Specs devices at the Premium Price... Thats where the Chinese Brands kicked in... I believe, now Samsung should learn a Lesson from this...

It was just a matter of time.

I would buy pixel in flagships, Nokia 7+/Asus 5z/honor 10 in mid-range. There is not a single budget device worthy enough. That is the main reason why I dislike every brand.
Nokia should have priced X6 at $250 instead of $300.

This was anticipated and nothing astonishing. I reckon Sony gonna end up same unless they bring their old days (Xperia Z days) back.
Later LG might close their curtain.
Seeing all these Samsung did great job in marketing and inventing fancy phones that actually fascinates people.

NOT a surprise given the LACK of a headphone jack in HTC's recent flagships from 2017 onward which is U11, U11+ and U12. And NOT FORGETTING OVERPRICED Mid-Range phones with bad specifications.

I've had smartphones from all brands since 2011 (I have an iPhone 8 now). But from all the phones I've had, the HTC phones were the ones I felt a 'connection' with. Especially with the older Sense versions like on HTC One M7, when HTC still had their own browser, calendar etc. and when Blinkfeed was really good. Never had that connection or feeling with an iPhone or Samsung. HTC had personality. But they have fallen down and failed in multiple aspects. Too bad.
