i'm not an apple person and don't plan to ever buy an apple item, but i do wish to pass my condonlences to his family. the guy was a visionary and i do applaud him for creating a bringing his brand to what it is today.. nobody should bash or insult the man for what he has achieved for his company and many around the world. if only i had that power and would love to be remembered as he will notably will be.

Not an Apple fan like a lot of other people. But the pc/mac market and ios/android/all other os market would not be where they are without him. Absolutely thriving with competition. Steve Jobs was without a doubt a 'Genius' (an actual Genius). I repsect and applaude your life Steve. Thank you.

Steve Jobs. Your the best Co-Founder former and CEO. Your the best product and top notch on Market. I'm truly sad that you pass away. I really do appreciate your masterful artwork. And your truly amazing that I ever felt before. Sadly that I'm haven't buy a single apple phone product. But your amazing any other than competitor. Condolence for you.

This is not a tech entry. It is to acknowledge the passing of someone.
Treat it as if you were at his funeral. Even if you did not like him, you would not be going around and shouting inappropriate statements.
Use a bit of common sense, show some self-respect, and a little maturity.
There will be plenty of other articles that you can choose to be angry in (tho I dont know why) later.
Steve's greatest rivals today have shown immense respect and said only good words.
Sometimes, the greatest strength is shown through our display of compassion, so let this article be, and respect those who are saddened by the passing of Steve Jobs.
RIP Steve, it's been one amazing journey.

Although, I still think Apple is overpriced, I truly acknowledge your impact on the use of technology in our everyday lives. Without you we may still be years, or even, decades away from the PC, music player, smartphones, or tablets that we know & take for granted today...so, thank you so much Steve...farewell...

I don't like Apple products, but at this time I'm planning to buy even as simple as ipod and engrave his signature at the metal back panel together with "1950-2011"

His life was very productive, and as sudamerican i can say that Steve was a good example as human being and his technology allowed us to touch some of the first wold advantages and this permitted to reduce differences in many ways among people from anywhere... RIP
