15 years ago during the era of resistive screens all screens were made out of plastic and were hard to break but easy to scratch, the only reason for making screens (or rear panels for that matter) out of glass is that it is harder and more scratch-resistant. And nothing has changed - notice that they don't do scratch tests and even using a rubber mallet, not a metal one, so I am afraid it is non-news clickbait. These screens may be tougher but will have no impact on the mainstream devices.

I dont care about unbreakable screen, if it will scratch to everything... Scratches is all i care about.
