Whackcar, 26 Jul 2018Hah, Motorola has been doing it since 3 years now. (2015 = ... moreAnd that is all the shatterproof phone Motorola have. How many model is that? Just two? I dont see shatterproof phone from Motorola in 2018 either. Lol. Meanwhile, Samsung will implement this on EVERY single oled phone they will have.

Now run a knife over both of the windows and we'll see who wins then xD

you can still smack it hard enough for the motherboard inside to break and the battery to explode

till now the most durable smartphone i have used is a Nexus 5x it flinged all across my room 3 times cse i stepped on the usb cable charging it nothing happened but unfortunately it bootlooped sad a good phone had to die because LG PCB engineers are living in under a rock

I have a motorola droid turbo 2(unbreakable af) in the cupboard because they thought soldering the micro usb to the main board is a great idea so instead of paying 200 usd for the board just for the port i had to put in a Samsung J5 Micro USB port in and now it takes 6 hours to charge it while powered off, some hella loose nut engineers out there

              Hmm, really interesting...

Hah, Motorola has been doing it since 3 years now. (2015 = Moto X Force, 2016 = Moto Z Force, 2017 = Moto Z2 Force, to be continued). Motorola's ShatterShield technology is truly jaw dropping & practical.

Still, nice to see the competition catching up after all these years. :D

It seems samsung decided to use screen protectors instead of glass. Anywhay they dont get scratched and cracked easily. Seems logical to me.

Motorola is long time using shatterproof screens which are definitely better,
And this? This video was a fake.
We did not saw who were testing the screens. Just some woman but no sight of face.
Secondly she missed first hit to the glass.
Then each of the hit was with a minimum strenght used and the swingss were small.
And finaly the hammer was rubber one not iron one.
Rubber hammer cant break anything. Just a big fail tests.

So corning will go bankrupt? I am really beginning to hate them because i have GorillaGlass 4 phone and i expect it to break, but having scratches within 2 weeks?? (consider it is the honeymoon period where i am super cautious with my phone)

Sonu4678, 26 Jul 2018The only concern left is scratch, if they can resolve that ... moreI think it will be left for next gen ones. However not breaking IMO is more important than scratching..

end if goriglass? you can see broken screens everyday, hopefully...

                                      does it work? lol

The only concern left is scratch, if they can resolve that then it'll be perfect.
