The only phones you will see people using are Xperia and iPhones. They're like Huawei phones. You don't see them in America but you'll see them a lot in other countries.

The fingerprint scener position is the reason behind lower bettery capacity. They should start useing side fingerprint scener again.

Today's Sony phones are the best they've ever been starting with XZ Premium all the way to XZ2 Premium. If you don't have one that's released in between those two mentioned above you are missing out a lot cause they are top of the line flagships. Both XZ1 and XZ2 are better than anything Sony has done in 2012 or before.

In past i mean years 2009-2012 maybe up to 2014 Sony were great outstanding masterpiece company with a huge sales portfolio and market share.
In present Sony is history and people speak about it but noone or almost noone carry its phones,
Major reason is same bulky design with nothing new.
Just a heavy brick weight very high price compared to offered specs.
As Sony Erricson were gone in past same future comming for Sony phones.

I hope that the IMX586 is just for mid rangers.
The main flagship sensor should be the larger IMX500 (yeah weird that it's inferior in naming scheme, but it's the case with the IMX486 on my Redmi 5 Plus anyway). It should be at least 1/1.7" in size in order to compete with the best (I mean, they make sensors for other brands but they put inferior ones on their own products, wth?). Also with an embedded DRAM that's larger than the one inside the IMX400 for longer super slow motion videos.

The single camera setup is more likely to be used in my opinion, as it needs to be in both the XZ3 and the Compact variant. The question then is, does the IMX586 have an integrated DRAM? Or there'll be a version of it with that.
An IMX586 and monochrome combo would be awesome for the next Premium too.
