Preference of an OS is understood as per user’s need but showing this kind of insecurity and just abusing iOS users is really immature.
Use whatever you want to but just spreading hate all over the web is not justifiable. Even I use both OS but most of the time I use iPhone as it suits my needs.... simple

I'll stick to my iPhone SE until it breaks. There is too much limitations with iOS like the inability to blacklist all numbers except my contacts and inferior tethering experience. I only use iPhone because I have a Mac. Expect four generations of the same design. This is only Year 2.

Last year many iPhone 6 Plus users were feeling the pinch to upgrade to the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. Although it hasn't happened due to the economy, prices, and lack of innovation.
This year, with the new iPhone X styling... those iPhone 6 iPhone 7 owners would be looking to upgrade.

I agree with the article. Am too thinking to upgrade to the budget one from 6s. I was initially going for iphone 8 red edition, but swipe gestures are love.

Most of the time, analyst's prediction is overstated. But if this estimate may come true it's good for all. Businessman and consumers alike.
These customers who will probably upgrade are those highly invested in iOS ecosystem wherein their current phones are no longer entitled for software updates.

I do not represent by any way the whole group of Android lovers) why would ANYONE use that OS. Sure, Omni-update is absulutely something that I envy of. But what kills me from using an iPhone as a daily driver is the follows:
- Storage expansion:
This one is quite understandable, Okay, So I bought a model with X amount of storage, What if it's still not enough? I want the ability to expand memory, and not by using the silly iXpand units.
-Storage Control:
It's cool'n'All that I can see in a nice,Cool, and colorful gauge what do I have in the iPhone. It's easy to understand much like Android's Way of showing it,
But what if I want to know EXACTLY which files I have in the device? It infuriates me when I have to use my iPhone, when my daily driver has to be charged.
-Files Transfer:
I do that A LOT! And in iOS it's a pain in the butt to do it, why Do I need to use ITunes if all I want is to add a few cool songs I found? iTunes in my honest and rather brute opinion should stay a store! And not be used as a bridge between my PC and the phone!
-Settings:
This one is my favourite honestly. You can find all settings for ALL THE F&$%ING APPS you have in your phone, but it has a drawback. It's too damn Messy! Why can't apple just scatter the app settings in the relevant apps and keep the core settings in the setting app like ANY OTHER NORMAL PHONE!??
these are the reasons Why iOS has me away from iPhone.

I don’t know why they are so much insecure. Just keep calling iPhone buyers brainless as if they are NASA scientists.
The kind of silly reasons they give to stay away from an iPhone are just childish. Grow up...

(My work Requires me having and iPhone, the latest one. So I "Enjoy" both worlds ^^; iPhone users in my work gets a selection of S9 or plus variant/LG G7/V35/Note 8/ Xiaomi mi 8 (standard version 845) Huawei P20&Pro version, Meizu 15, mate 10 pro (sadly no standard version), Asus 5z, and other phones I can't recall right now. My work's Terms of service requires ALL EMPLOYEES (yes, even the CEO) Have to own atleast one device of every OS that is considered popular. So if there were 4 OS, you got 3 phones from work excluding your personal driver.)

if the normal size oled screen 64GB iphone is under us$750. i might consider to get one and try. phone would be purchased again every year, or every 2 years. much like paying subscription fee to Apple, don't want it be a too high fee.

Fiannly we see good hardware win over good software.
I hope android phones would emulate the good hardware and steal all the iPhone sales. Once androids became like 90% of the world they cut down in hardware. Time for a resurgence.
IMO Apple has no taste in software (always sucked) and google no taste in hardware (always betting the wrong horse... They resurrected netbooks for gods sake only to b*tchslapped a second time by ipad). IMO Apple is a hardware first company, Google a software first, one should use each other's expertise and make the best phone ever devised.

When people have more than enough income, they will spend more on food, cellphones, clothing, cars, headphones, vacation etc. They've already work really hard everyday and have a good paycheck. It's time to enjoy. They know what they like and their budget's limit.
So let it be.
If you don't like iPhone and you think expensive is ok. Everybody has own way of life and income.
