Anonymous, 06 Sep 2018Its not false readigns, the high scores show what the Kirin... moreRight... Huaway use douple woltage in test programs that would burn the battery and gpu to grap in few months if used regulary.
It is like Usain Bolt would use somekind of super boost doping that would biist his speed douple, but cause his lungs and kidneys to die after long term usage...
Any normal phone soc can run slower if it does not need maximum speed like Usain Bolt, Most of them just don`t use unhealty method when detecting test program like Huaway does and if they claim Are right other chinese phones too...
There is big difference in here and this is cheating. Unhealthy cheating considering the hardware the phone has!

Samsung is the main culprit in this. Years ago we already said that it would lead to this, and here we are.
The best thing is, all the best cheating results from android are still behind the current iPhone, and not even the iPhone coming out in 10 days.

Do you guys still remember about Samsung tampering with benchmark on Galaxy S4 back in 2013? It is HAPPENING AGAIN only with a different brand. At least Samsung apologized. What about Huawei? Oh, we android users / truthers have never forgotten about locked bootloaders on Huawei devices to lock EMUI to the T**TH. What does this tell you about Huawei?

Benchmark results are like drag race performance of a car. A car won top place in drag race doesn't indicate it's off road performance, turning & handling in a crowded city etc.

Do you guys still remember Samsung tampered with benchmark results on Galaxy S4 in 2013? Samsung had apologised and moved on. Seems the same incident happened again, 5 years later this time with another brand. It seems that lessons have never been learnt from Samsung's mistake back in 2013. Huawei, unlike Samsung, did not apologise. What does this tell you about Huawei? Also, not forgetting the removal of unlocking the bootloader which was a dick move on Huawei's part to lock their EMUI for the sake of treating users as "imbecile".

gollygeewillikers, 06 Sep 2018Yes totally agree, the benchmark tests for smartphones are ... moreYou'd forgive a company that fools customers into buying something they never would buy in the first place if they knew the real scores? I know I wouldn't, because that's insane and illegal.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2018Its not false readigns, the high scores show what the Kirin... moreBenchmarks aren't here to see what peak speed your phone can do. Otherwise they'd be useless.
Otherwise the SD810 wouldn't have failed miserably in benchmarks VS the Exynos 7420

Huawei's lies on benchmarks. Lies when launching products. In regards to the Mate 10's product launch. We are still waiting for updated Camera AI that was promised at launch that would be updated over time.
Pathetic from them. Phone of the Year Mate 10 getting treated like Crap.

gsmarena, do your investigation on this. There seems to be a debate between higher battery consumption vs normal when doing benchmarks.
I've seen some comments that playing games causes Huawei phones to get so hot.

See that comin already. In terms of android. There are only 2 OEM that are fast and fluid in day to day usage. Either Google Pixel/one or Sony. That's why I'm sticking with Sony.
