Huawei has this inferiority complex, they troll Apple, on the other side, they copy everything from it, I'm sure that after copying the notch, they will start copying planet wallpapers now...

No matter who is copying who iPhone is still one of the most desirable phones in the world, and I can see why. For instance, I don't buy an iPhone for myself till date, but I need to buy it for my wife. Since the cost of an iPhone is high, I buy the antepenultimate gen (bought 7 Plus a few months ago when iPhone X was the latest), which makes sense as Apple provides good support for the SW updates over long time and she doesn't have to miss too many features anyway.
But Huawei is getting ridiculous day by day. They change a bit, and get a new phone in the market everytime. And then every phone has some significant compromises. They can't even market it properly. Say, Note 10 is out in China, but in India, availability is unknown till date.
I feel Xiaomi is doing way better.

huawei don't bother with them, we all know that apple has no innovation at all even since then first iphone came out. they only release clones with higher price tag and call it "next gen" where consumers [knowledgeable ones not bimbos] sees it as fashion brick.

Huawei Mate series - their own signature centric design
These are strategy by the company to attract former iphone user to switch to them and others as a cheaper alternative than iphone. And things just work, they are no. 2 in the world right now. Many iphone user switch to huawei and happily ever after as well. And as for the glass back design, it was Sony that start the trend.
Nonetheless, Mate 20 series will definitely be a beast of a phone!
