Also at the very least they could bundle 5v2a chargers the battery size has gone up with the larger screens even 100 dollar androids come with 5v2a chargers.

And I was dissapointed that note 9 has the same QC 2.0 since galaxy note 4... well, then... I understand that a 5w charger is enough for a 7Wh battery (iphone 7,8). But for bigger batteries, like, iphone 7/8 plus or the newest iphones (I don't think they have less than 2500mah) at least a 10w charger.... seriosly, it takes 3 hours to charge a full battery with a 5w charger. And now Apple won't include adapter for headphone jack in the box... and iphone xr has a 720p display....
I used to love Apple back in 2010-2015days.
Because of how fast they were in comparison with samsung flagships that they were lagging even in settings :)))
But now, I have the s8 (very sad that my a5 2016 died horribly from pink to black screen of death) and I don't see any lag, battery lasts at least three times longer than an iphone 7, and with android Oreo everything is miles faster! Even on 1440p resolution! Maybe I was lucky, but I see that samsung has started to care more about updates and smoothness. I receive updates monthly. So my advice. If you have been using apple devices for so long, and you want a decent upgrade (apart from design) then go and buy it, these are not bad phones. But I was thinking to myself If I should buy iphone 7 or 8 and not the galaxy s8/s9. But with the s8, It broke all the barriers and frustrations that I had with previous samsung phones. And I got it for less than 500 euros! 485 euros I paid. It all comes down to preferences.

my main area of concern is the fact these 'slow' chargers are still being manufactured in the present day, which is a big waste of resources considering many will be unused or eventually disposed off even when not faulty... these 'slow' chargers are probably only best used if you intend to charge overnight while you sleep...
iPhones also have another trick that bothers me, that its battery percentage always show bombastic numbers, such as 100% for a long time and then when it touches 40% it drains like the battery is leaking... yes, people will argue many phones are like this but nope, Android handsets I've used and owned always show responsible battery discharging figures and only 'leaks' when it touches 20%...
also, since I switched to an Oppo/Vivo/Huawei, I noticed they have their own fast charging tech that doesn't even heat up the battery... amazing... and fast charger and cable are supplied in the box when you purchase a model that supports one... and no, they don't cost a kidney to buy...

So I don't just think I don't want or need to ever use fast charging I actually know that I won't. Reason more not to fast charge - heat. Phone would get really hot, and no, that is not good for your battery.

Because they are sheep. They'd rather buy than complain. I've seen a lot of people that struggling with the charge on their iPhones (due to low battery capacity and slow charging)

It's a strategy. Apple really wanted to milk as much money from its naive customers as much as its wants. If they included a fast charger, airpods and other standard accessories to the already grossly overpriced $1000 iPhone, the package price would bloat further. That would discourage many not to buy iphones anymore. By not providing the standard accessories in the retail box, it gives the naive buyers the impression that it's not overpriced at all.

That’s how Apple became a trillion dollar company. Milking money from iFans. This is just an another tactic of theirs to extract even more out of people’s wallets. Charging exhorbitant prices, even crossed 1000USD, and still can’t provide fast charger to support the fast charging capacity, they boasted of. And here you can see poor iFans defending their brand’s greediness at any cost for their poor decisions.
