This is fake triple camera though. Depth sensors are useless in 2018. Excellent bokehs can easily be achieved with software alone.

Hmm, not bad. The Extra Wide-Angle Camera is good. The F1.7 aperture of the 24 MP main camera is cool too.
So, this essentially confirms the (telephoto zoom + normal + extra-wide angle) of the top-tier S10. Great.
Fingerprint scanner on the side button is the best position, IMHO. Hope they price it competitively.
However, my biggest gripe is with the design. No, I don't mean the notchless screen - that's actually good. They should have kept the centrally aligned camera position, which always looked good. It's one of the few things that distinguished any Samsung Galaxy smartphone, just by looking at it's exterior, irrespective of whether they were old / new or flagship / midrange / budget series.
The A8 Star & this A7 does not look like they belong to the Samsung family. It just looks like another Chinese knock-off.

That's step up for sure but I have a feeling that it's going to be expensive on the level of One Plus as someone mentioned below and this is not the way to go...

Judging by the fact that Galaxy A8 sells for the equivalent of an OP6 and this phone is more or less equivalent to that plus an extra camera u cld be looking at an $600 dollar price tag on this. That's not really a fraction of P20 Pro's price tag now is it?
