Early sales of iPhone XS and XS Max below Apple's peak levels, expected to slow down

    That's where the money will come on older devices.

    Apple is still selling, A LOT, but they will not surpass the 6 series sales. The same way Samsung will not reach the sales from the S3 (or S4, i dont remember which one sold the most). Those are just analyst dreams.

      1.price
      2.a marketing strategy (see in sg and what happen in Youtuber droidlime hapening)what happen in they had maybe in around the world happening.
      3.less talk do more make a profit is must but greed can cost something hurts

                      More like the expectations were too high + the market is saturated, old high-end devices still have good cameras and pretty much work ok for people who basically use them for photos and social media that don't really require "this incredible new cpu that is so much better".

                        I went in to my carrier store today to look at the iPhone Xs Max & the Galaxy Note 9.
                        I couldn't tell any difference between them in screen quality, but it's the notch, I've tried to like it, I've even had the notch haircut, sorry it's not for me ;)

                          This is to be expected: Apple has 2 new iPhones on sale now with very high prices, and a more affordable one coming in a month or so. Many people are doubtlessly waiting for the new XR, so it is not surprising that XS and XS Max sales may have an upper limit at this stage.

                            It's what I was saying from the beginning. Apple cornered themselves in a bad position and in the long run they will fail.
                            Now the Xr for Apple will be successful but for the competition it will be weak considering the new phones arriving in October and the new and Samsung's phones, the S10 and specially the fordable phone.
                            This quarter will be a little success if they can mange but the rest of the year, they will fail.
                            That's why they rushed now the Xr to foxconn because the sales are really bad, like serious bad. Even I have commented on that article that came yesterday about foxconn getting the Xr and claiming JDI's displays aren't stable which is a false claim

                                  According to eprice Taiwan, the iPhone Xs 64 Gb is US$ 1131, the XZ3 6Gb ram is US$ 844. Note 9 128Gb is US$835..

                                    Exactly, thats why iPhones are in such a big demand. First people bought those mediocre Android devices, but now lot of them are moving to iPhones and want a real value for their money.

                                    Android paper spec brainwashing doesn't work anymore that well, people getting smarter and want a real deal

                                      Can pay, won't pay. Don't mind paying extra for premium quality. Do object to having my eyes gouged out. Know plenty of other folk who feel the same.

                                        Just the camera? Why not buy 300$ Poco and a camera (better than iPhone camera) for another 400, and still save 400 dollars.
                                        Paying 400 dollars more will give you what? You miss out on an actually great camera, a phone with SD slot, hf jack, fast charger out of the box etc which are actually useful in real life, and lose out on that fruit logo and maybe, watching HD content on Netflix (if you really like to watch those shows on the small screen). But yeah, the most important thing in that "non-mediocre" device of yours is the Logo, you know, how will someone notice you when your phone has the words (Pocophone" stamped on the back.
