But does 808 take better low light pictures? Actually no, because lack of light sensitive another sensor. (Of course it's way superior in good lightning condition.)

Just add this camera set to the smallest (possibly flat) model as well... With all the other features, said to be exclusive to the unusable phablet version ;)

The imx586 will merge pixels to shoot 12MP in low light. Even with smaller pixels it can do better than a 12 MP one. Sony has explanation on their site..

Making phones with multiple cameras is now starting to become a trend.
I know for sure that they would end up having more than 5 cameras.
Phone manufacturers are getting busy to copying one another's concept.

Based on data in the table it will be "regular, wide and ultra-wide" not "regular, ultra-wide and tele".
FOV 45 degrees is not "tele" rather "normal" or "standard"

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018Well...
Telephoto is always smaller than regular wide ... moreI saw the sensor specs and you're right. The Sony IMX586 Sensor has tiny pixels, and even with the quad bayer pixel arrangement, there will be no real advantage. The quad bayer pixel actually reducws real resolution and detail, apart from dynamic range. Maybe if the 48MP sensor was the same size as the Nokia 808 (1/1.2), or somewhere close (atleast 1/1.7), the 48MP would have made sense.
Someone mentioned that this is the same sensor for the 4th time in the S Series (12MP 1/1.55). That's absolute ignorance. The 1/1.55" sensor size is the perfect balance of size and features, and that is why the new iPhone XS Max has probably used the same sensor, from the tiny one in the previous iteration. Each version of the S Series has used the same sensor size and pixel could, but it's been a different pixel each time, the last one even had DRAM and super high speed burst speeds.
I hope the new sensor on the S10 does Full Res 12MP at 120fps. That could really help with pushing HDR even further.

I like this S10's concept. I should love the phone too, if its anything like S9+...
However, I think Samsung will price it insanely over S9+, which is not worth. Just one wide angle camera is added with some performance and modes and this will break the bank!
That is the worse part.

Wasn't Samsung the first company to ridicule the Apple iPhone X's vertical camera setup? Maybe a notch on the S10?
Comes to show that they're just copying their mane rivals design, AGAIN!

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018ultra wide camera is meh...Clearly you don't know anything about photography.
Some of the best pictures are taken with wide or ultra-wide lens.
I work in the photography industry for 13 years and I know and follow some of the best photographers out there. For landscape photography, a wide angle lens is a must, every landscape photographer uses one. Most people only think about zoom, like I did when I didn't understand anything about photography, but now, I use my wide lens more than I use my tele one. This is the perfect setup for someone that really likes and knows the essence of photography. For instagram ego-based users, it's meh!

Now there is a Multi-Camera race...
Some things never change, eh?
