If iPhone started with 1000$ that doesn't mean that its worth it, and BTW mate 20 is far better than iPhones, I am not saying that they are too worth of 1000$ but iPhones are lot expensive than their worth.

Huawei try to make a statement here, best chipset inbound, maybe best camera experience, best non stock android rom provided. Therefore the price. Lets wait for the launch and complains later.

Thought Hauwei sold so much because they were cheap. I hope this backfires for the company and only a handful of fanboys but this piece of junk. No better than the iPhone xr.

If I'm gonna pay $1000 for a phone that has a notch, might as well get an iPhone Xs. At this point, companies are pretty much insane charging $1000 for a phone that'll be outdated in less than a year.

I am guessing the hardware cost on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro would be the highest in any smartphone.
Also, did Sony finally admit that the sensor is theirs on the P20 Pro (albeit a Toshiba one)?

The reason why I say this is because it offers great features and some even greater than Samsung and iPhone.
Not to mention that Huawei P20 Pro won the best phone awards for 2018

no reason why they would sell $800-$1000. a new camera sensor ? all the 4 sensors are 1/1.8" + All-lenses OIS ? if so, i am in!

Definitely never outside China. This is not going to sell particularly well. Huawei is still considered a budget brand overseas. The NOTCH isn't helping!
