The update will bring new camera features and some UI fixes first for current Galaxy S and Galaxy Note flagships.

As someone who used an S8 and waited for Oreo till March 2018 (and Oreo was released in August 2017) I think that S9 users can be happy if they get Android Pie by the end of February...
This is also one of reasons why I migrated to iOS, and on iOS I got update the same day it rolled out, imagine that. And I'm not even using their current flagship.

There are too many apps that can't be disabled or uninstalled..

Regarding Samsung bloatware, you clearly didn't had a S3 :)
Is not really a Pixel or an One Plus device, but Samsung came a long way from his recent years.

Samsung is FULL of bloatware and good-for-nothing junk apps!

Just samsung could fu.. this up. Pie looks so nice with just little rounded edges but samsung decided to round them from almost middle of the screen. NO taste at all.

Our S8's will probably be updated around April/May, and if you have a Tab S3 it'll probably be updated around the Android 10 launch.

Enough to drive a person to drink . Or worse, Apple !

A series get it at end of 2019 and J series will be happy if they get Oreo 8.1. instead of Oreo 8.0.
Tyoical Samsung they mess up everything.
Congrats to those who support this company by buying their devices.
