I don't see a problem. A company says they will issue a software update that will rid you of your issue. If it doesn't, then walk into a store and get it done under warranty.
A bigger issue nobody talks about is how Xiaomi offers a year's warranty on their phones, but only six months on accessories, which includes the battery. You seal a battery inside the phone and call it an accessory that will only stand for 6 months?
That's an unfair business nobody is talking about. Any other OEM doing this?

Samsung is the most reliable brand together with Apple sometimes even better.

When you buy cheap stuff, you get cheap quality products. It's just how it goes.
Light bleeding is 100% hardware related. It has nothing to do with software.

... moreVery true.
I would recommend (those technologically inclined) to go to the xda forums, and install ResurrectionRemix on this phone. Seems to get rid of some bloat and increase battery life by a noticeable amount, and that's on top of the speed bonus it provides. You can of course customise it to make it look/behave the way you prefer as always.

That's what you get for believing these cheap quality Chinese phones. That's why you should never buy Chinese brand phones. Who knows, Xiaomi might have also installed spyware that sends your data to the Chinese government like what Huawei does.

I was in the market for a mid-priced phone and was very tempted by the Poco, especially after reading the review here. In the end I picked up a Nokia 7 Plus white, mostly for the solid feel and pure Android. I know the Poco has a much better processor, but so far I'm happy with the Nokia.

If they said can replace the screen immediately FOC, its what people should do and thats a reasonable response.
