At least Samsung and Apple doesn't make Chinese spyware phones that send your data back to the Chinese government, unlike Huawei. Avoid Huawei phones at all costs, tell your friends the same.

        They cheat on benchmarks...

Thats not what a worthy trust company does

It's already known that huawei has its own memory management algorithm which has been doing good for a few good years now. I'd go as far as saying that a few years back, most of the need to root was nullified with huawei's customizations (although they came with problems of their own), but other companies picked up and are doing fine on that matter.

Whatever phone you've got that was made in the past two years, chances are it's going to run without a hiccup longer than the ones before it. So I think it's a bit of an empty boast by huawei at this time. A few years back, I'd stand by them, but now's too late.

Well, i own galaxy note edge mm.601 rooted and moded UI, few month a go i noticed a bit slow and i guess it was google apps that slow duwn, then i comment several times at play-store to reminde them this google apps lurking system on slowdown to push people o update and that's cheating and not fair, and now this days google is updating it's apps several times and the speed is top notch on my note edge...no adds no disruptions...the only thing i em worry about is at least ones during 24h might request loogin with password instead of fingerprint.

I own neither, but I'd still go with Samsung than Huawei. At least I can unlock the bootloader on Samsung and fix them however I want.

It shouldn't be "a whole another story," you should demand they back up their claims

Cmon lol, then the defending and attacking starts of some damn phones... Cmon fan boys and girls.
They all doing this, they all cheat, they all lie, they all doing the same things, it called business.
Cheap Chinese tactic one saying, but Sammyboy isn't Chinese... Was it 9-10-12 videos they troll Apple with some month ago lol. They all the same and will always be, so stop lying for yourself and all others and look the fact.
Defending some billion dollar companies, don't give us cheap phones. They all chearters...

My personal experience is, that my wife's 2 year old P9 lite (2/16 version) does it's job pretty much like, when it was acitvated. It had only a couple of updates, but it's system is rock solid for basic tasks.

However my Nexus 5X slowed down enormously since I use it. Okay it has 8.1 on board, but for Oreo 2 GB of RAM is just simple not enough. I can't get any multitasking not even between Opera Mini and the Messages app. FR did not help. (I know that the 5X was an epic fail with bootlooping, bad motherboard, etc. but still was the small reference phone for Google)
So Huawei keep up the good work, but concentrate on the video performance of your devices, because sometimes the are abysmal compared to the slowing down Apple and Samsung phones.

My Motorola Moto X 2013 that I have owned since new is really fast for what I use it for. It was Motorola's flagship 5 years ago and I only paid £69. I like to see big year on year improvements and can't wait to see an Antutu benchmark score of over 1,000,000 (one million). I'm sure sometime in the 2020's that score will be achieved.

Funny how Galaxy SII, Note 4, S7, S8 are still as operation now as the day they were purchased. Bring on your aging chinese crap phone (of the same release year) and I'm positive my dated, storage maxed out phones are still better.
