3.5mm jack is not "Old School" and not obsolete, its a necessity and should still be with all phones.

No more ... moreWell I think the round corner screens like the one in the G6 are OK, just no larger arc radii than that.
The most important thing is that the notch is removed, and I appreciate this (just this) step back very much.

another DoA phone by LG. they better make cheap flagship market competing with Oneplus, Asus, and Poco, and midrange market with SD636/660 successor and competitive pricing. it will be an easy battle.

If this is just gonna be another phone that has a small battery when other OEM's are finally giving consumers bigger batteries, I'll pass. I don't care how good software optimization is. If a phone is too thin and light, it starts to look and feel cheap. Put a damn 4,000 mAh battery in your phones, LG. And for God's sake, overhaul SmartWorld. It sucks, compared to Samsung's theme store. Maybe then I'll consider buying another V-series phone.

Square camera setup made by LG X Cam in 2016.
It's true that wasn't a flagship smartphone and only had two cameras and a flash but the design of the Mate 20 series is very similar. But I think there is no smartphone maker which don't use ideas from any other.

Well, you never know about fingerprint scanner, they may put one in display and one on back, i mean, we already have phones like that

They're taking inspiration from the Mate 20 series, and that's fine. The thing i like about these patents are the lack of the dreaded notch. I hope most 2018 phones will avoid the notch, specially Huawei, LG & Google (that is assuming Google has learnt the lesson).

yeah..very nice but...then they put battery of max 3000mA.Of course they are gonna destroy their own projects...again!
