Fanboys need to stop arguing. I am a oneplus user and i will probably ugrade to the 6t because of the t-mobile trade in opportunity. However, im glad someone is calling Oneplus out on their price hikes, because idk about everyone else, but i want to get my money's worth when im buying something. Oneplus went from underpriced, to slightly over priced.
One other thing that frustrates me is people complaining about phones with plastic backs, when in reality they will get an all glass phone and then slap a plastic case on it? Makes no sense

At their base selling price, Poco also has UFS 2.1 storage (Which is rare), Support for Widevine L1 will be in the next coming update which is an easy fix of the software side. Xiaomi is also reportedly working on a 4K 60 fps for the Poco which for the base price, will probably be the cheapest phone to have such capability. Together with the big battery capacity that it has, It's a no-brainer.
I'm not saying Oneplus makes a bad phone but rather at the base price, Poco has a lot more to offer. and Oneplus 6T is a weak update. If you can get a Oneplus 6, get that instead. Oneplus is slowly losing it, claiming to listen to the consumers but with the headphone jack removal, it clearly shows otherwise.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2018Iirc Pocophone doesn't even run MIUI.LOL OK, what I knew was that it is currently using MIUI Global Stable 9.6.25.0 and will be going to be updated to MIUI 10 Global Stable. So should I wonder if it uses MIUI as well?

No matter what,, I both might have the same processor and same ram but when using it for a while both phones starts to slow there true colors,, the poco is starts to lag, but and one plus still on never settle, fast and smooth mode, this is because one plus has the best OS

I like how many of the commenters are a bunch of uptight OnePlus users whose only purpose is to bash a rival brand. Why don't you get a better job so the money for the newest iPhone becomes pocket change? Or are you people incapable of such things? The Pocophone is doing wonders for those who can't afford better. And OnePlus is for those slightly above that. Work hard, go to an Ivy League, and start a business as I did, so you don't have to worry about comparing all these crappy foreign phones.
And by the way, do the math. The Pocophone is cheaper.

you know what's cheaper than the poco? the new nokia 3310.. it has a camera, a color screen and does calls just like the poco.. but I guess Xiaomi didn't notice that :/

You also can't stream Netflix and Amazon Prime in FullHD on that ugly notched 2K panel. Not to mention you can't see any notifications because of that notch.
Nice way to throw away 300€.
Xiaomi should shut up, OnePlus is leagues ahead of them.

The chassis is still metal, only the back cover is plastic (or kevlar, depending on the edition), which seriously isn't any issue as the vast majority would use a case either way.
The phone feels just as solid as any other flagship. For this price, it's an amazing piece of kit. "Do the math" seems fitting, not just because of Poco, but also given the Galaxy's are so close in pricing. I can truly understand how a phone that costs close to half needs to have some concessions. But I cannot understand how anyone accepts paying prices close to a Galaxy S9 Plus and still get the many concessions of a "wannabe" flagship killer.
