FlexPai is the world's first foldable phone, first with Snapdragon 8150 too

"Phone" isn't the right word for it, the screen grows to 7.8" (4:3) when unfolded.

Mel, 31 Oct 2018 Not what i I expected for $1,300What did you expect then? Im just curious, because its completely new tech, so for my part i think its a good price really.

Walter C. Dornez, 31 Oct 2018A foldable phone is actually a good idea. If they manage to... morecurved tvs failed bad where I live. always best promos are curved displays. noone want's them.

foldable phones like you want you will not get them soon, the market is changing so fast that when those phones appear, you already want something else. Look project Ara from google, I was one of the first to say project will fail bad. The idea was good on paper, in real life it didn't had a chance.

try to put a cover to protect this kind of foldable phones? get it? and screen, to curve is plastic? It will scratch like crasy, by the time they resolve this issues and height, and perfect image, you will want something like an expandable phone like a projector screen that you can roll size of a pencil, and grow to the size you want. That's an example...but I can't predict in 5 years how smartphones will look like...look 5 years ago and watch how far we come. Foldable phones are DOA, trust me.

Well i told it year ago. Foldable phones are a HUGE joke.
If a tottaly unknown company made this with CPU which was never seen for 1300.
Imagine how much Samsung or Apple would ask for theses.
        What will be next???
Phone made of liquid material so it can shrink into a size of a match box and expand to size of a small TV???
Like from Harry Potter Movie when Hermiona picked oversized items from a small backpack???

Unknown company is asking 1300 so Samsung will ask 2500.

Ahh here it is, lenovo's foldable tablet from last year

              https://www.businessinsider.com/lenovo-folio-bendable-foldable-tablet-smartphone-video-2017-7

Won't the other half of the screen get scratches when the phone is frequently placed down? Plus what if one accidentally apply pressure while folded in a pocket, won't the hinge snap?

I think 'Bendable' and 'Fold-able' are two different things. Chinese might messed up with translating to English :P

This isn't half bad. That charging is pretty fast and the OS seems to work fine with the foldable nature of the phone. 1300 dollars isn't too bad considering the newness of this tech
