huawei feeling strong with kirin 980 and said it more faster than a12 bionic... now?.. screen with Oled display make huawei mate 20 pro look beautiful... now? crap... Chinese phone totally crap... maybe LG give crap screen display for huawei... totally match for kirin 980...

To the latest readers of this article, I'd like to inform you that the Mate 20 Pro uses 2 different display panels. One from BOE, which is perfect. The other from LG, which has these issues.
Fortunately, the majority of Mate 20 Pros are using the BOE panels, so you should be good. If however you're one of the unlucky customers, then take your phone to the Huawei service center and ask for replacement.
Do share your experience in the process.

I'm using the S8+ and I never noticed anything similar to this.
Yes, I know everything is ASSEMBLED in china, but not everything is DESIGNED in china. That's the difference between quality products vs china products.
But people never understand this..
Only Japanese or Korean tech for me!

Plus, apple usually won't give you the refurbished phone, you'd have to buy it ;) clearly you haven't seen the video.
As per the update, the official statement hasn't been issued yet so we'll have to wait and see. Until then, let's see what other companies did:
Samsung: recall and repair/replace (still , Note7 was rubbish in the end, but there was an issue with the note 5 camera where it was also recalled and repaired)
I don't remember but most companies did recall and repair.
However, may I remind you of "you're holding it wrong, so buy a case"? and #bendgate where you got a new phone with the same problem? and that's only phones we're talking about.

If Sony could make the XZ3's LG-made OLED display look so good without harming the quality of the panel, why can't Huawei do the same thing?? Isn't it, that their mobile division is much more profitable than Sony's??

This phone is NOT getting ROOT. Why? Huawei is blocking the OEM UNLOCK in the devp. Options.
Go look at the xda forums. Everbody is returning this phone because of this. Somebody goes to the support of Huawei and if they unlock the phone? They said NO.
Also there is lot of screen problems with this AMOLED screen, bleeding green out. Dont get this phone.
