For me WP7 wasn´t even an option "1 year" ago. But things have changed, the WP7 (7.5) updates were good, and what I can see from Lumia it seems fine (no huuge breakthrough idea though!). I think it will take some time for MS / Nokia to gain market share (it can´t happen in a few months), like someone said, a few years for customers (like me) to take WP7 as an option. Nokia will soon pump out even thougher models to compete with the top!

Lots of negative reporting trying to get Nokia to dispute bogus speculation. It's now a three horse race and it's going to be 2-3 years before it's finished.

Guess what guys: I don't mind! I love the WP7 but whats happening that they are doing hardware that can't compete wiht the hardware being used in Android or Apple. I want them to fail so they start giving WP7 what it deserves

I think that WP will be a big hit in the future, not sure yet with Lumia & WP7.5 but I am sure it comes. We are now in the area where WP wasn´t earlier an option for most (me included), but with the updates made, and easier integration with the PC it is now a serious alternative.

Nokia is the owner of Maemo which is not open source.
Samsung will have to develop their own codes to integrate with intel's moblin. But they are too happy with android sales....

Is analyst some kind of genius, this same story is being run on every major website... maybe it has somehting to do with using google as a search engine to find news about its competitor?
That analyst is playing a quessing game based on some trends... it's sampling within a sample? Ill wait for facts or something reliable.

Fact os nokia is failing and all floppia nerds cant admitt the truth.They have produced nothing decent in years and have run out of ideas now.Theres no need to try convince other people nokia is a winner.Where i work theres still 3500 in our warehoise and sold 300 to 800 stores.Hardly mega sales i feel they will all have to be returned to nokia for a refund.As for selling out in shops i hardley think so in your dreams maybe.You sure you didnt confuse it with an iphone 4s.

Microsoft sends their agent to Nokia, he brings back Nokia back to Microsoft, Nokia suffers losses and goes bankrupt - Microsoft buys out Nokia and gains their hardware know how, NAVTECH - Camera knowledge everything..
At the end Microsoft wants to fight Apple and now Motorola without the need of any outside manufacturers..
Don't know where it goes next, I love Nokia for putting up a fight; but something here gives me second thoughts..its more like the Movie Zeitgeiest

Wel about Lumia 800 i can only say one thing wait n watch when some big thing arrived peoples take ti,e for react it is justanumber which sold in one countty in hardly 3 or 4 days guys this phone is not for every one remeber n nokia dnt have only Wp7 S^4 belle is also in market
