This is a fantastic idea. A great way to have a big size screen and keep the portability.

Why is people complaining? what you don't get is that this phone is not aimed for your average Joe. Samsung is not mass producing these or launching it as their flagship device. This Is like a custom luxury device aimed at people that does have the power to buy this without lamenting it for the rest of the year. That is why they are still launching the Galaxy 10 next year.

The Cover Display mode has a Tiny Screen to Body Ratio. I hope Samsung utilises the extra space for a Mobile Monster Chip. Like a table that allows for video and photo editing. 12Gb RAM, and a mobile graphics card that is absolutwly class leading, and processor that vacillates between very low battery consumption for simple tasks and processor intensive for heavy duty editing.

I expect patches withing 20-30 days max...

I bet the US is the same as such 5G won’t be required for all and if it adds more cost.. well it’s kinda pointless currently it’s about like when the first 4K tv’s came up I don’t expect to see more global coverage of 5G for at least 2 year by then 5G will lightly be in all new phones even low end as such making 5G in all phones now is like bragging rights if you can’t use it.. and even if you could I bet it would only be in selected areas.. like city’s and main towns if your lucky..

People think they are gonna mass produce these? People think that Samsung think they're actually looking forward to releasing this? This is just a a gloat piece to show that they can release something different for fun and not care if anyone buys it. This merely being released to show that this is the start of something new. The price means nothing since they just don't care about it being sold.

Till now I can't afford 500$ phone. That s too high for me.
