Samsung's foldable phone to come in March for $1,770

That's based on info from industry insiders, who do not believe the phone will feature 5G. Samsung is still confident it can ship 1 million units, though.

      Well I hope they give it more than 2 years of support via OS upgrades, otherwise they can keep it.

        By March, the Note 9 will be cheap enough for me to get one. I'll get that instead.

          Don't understand why there is so much animosity regarding the price tag, new technology always comes with a hefty price tag.

                SD8150, 6 GB of RAM. 128 GB storage min. go up to 10GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage! else it's a flop IMO!

                    Huawei is proven that once even a crap chinese brand reaches so many unit's sold and has a decent fan base they will raise the price. Look at the Mate 20 series.

                    Seriously people, it's new tech and yes it will cost some money. GET OVER IT.

                                It will be better if they can flex the display from top to bottom side, not from side to side.. So the external display will have smaller bezel.

                                    I will never purchase this phone. I am already getting jittery with the Note series receiving support - being updated for just a year, and now Samsung are coming with new "Snake Oil". We are already having full screenshots with 6.4+ displays and also much lighter, why bother with s $1,700 phone (almost $5 a day) if you assume Samsung will continue with their one year support "policy".

                                    I think it is time Oppo and Vivo release a stylus-ed phone! - better purchase an Oppo at an affordable price, than an expensive Samsung which never gets proper support.

                                        But as all new tech the price is sky high in beginning, so ofc. its overpriced. But i can wait 2 or 3 years, then the prices will be more like normal for this kind a phone.
