2000$ for phones that you don't need, it's becoming ludicrous. these phone manufacturers have lost their minds, I don't see more than a few crazy rich people that do not care about their stolen money being able to afford these useless gadgets.

I think this device is much better and cheaper than the Huawei's Porsche design phones and $200 more than the iPhone XS Max 512GB version
So I say this is a win and people should buy it because this is a new kind, anew phone form factor. You have a tablet and phone at the same time.
Now, Huawei will face a challenge with $1500 range and Apple as well.

Even this is some new tech, its really over priced.
But this is Samsung, so it really don't surprise anyone i guess.
In some years the price will drop and most brands have their F-mobile i think.

Stop complaining about the price. It's a new form factor, a first generation. Don't like it then don't buy it, i don't complain about Lamborghinis being to expensive and getting mad that I can't afford it. Buy in your damn means.

1700 is not because of more screens. It's just to pay development to early adopter.

Let them enjoy some healthy profits to recover R&D before it becomes mainstream. I would have gladly supported them and encourage such bold moves, if only I had the money to spare, that is.
Yes, Xiaomi, Oppo and others would eventually follow when technology and supplies are abundant, but until then, get a Phablet and Palm phone :)

First 1770 $ is soo much a smartphone ! Second the way to fold it looks stupid and it looks very tall like a remote control! They can make it foldable from the other side. And with spen will be much useful
