    Can this think compete with A12/A12X? Or maybe with the next year iPhones A13?

        Samsung should focus on making processor that can actually perform at the levels it boasts about rather than act as an empty balloon.

                Thank god I decided to wait for the S10, almost sat with a crap Mate 20 Pro

                  This is just my thoughts.If Apple puts A12X Bionic into their iphones this year,all android companies will feel so insecure because A12X bionic is the most powerful chipset rn and it reaches 400k in antutu.Even it has only 7 cores gpu made by apple but it's so powerful than adreno and mali.I'm android user but i have to admit that apple took a big step since ip7 series with A10 fusion and i kind of so impressed with that.My friend has ip7+ that is 2 years old phone but it performs so good and excellent in gaming.So smooth,i can't deny it tho.So i feel like apple did something great since 2 years ago and apple also uses less chemicals materials in their products which is good thing for consumers'.I just read about this in their website,apple also provides some info about the chemicals that they reduced to be used in their products and what types of chemicals are.They also give analysis about those things and how much amounts they use and many more.I'm quite impressive because they care about environments.Those just my opinions....

                    jkism, 14 Nov 2018Kirin 980 comes with A76.you're aware A75 is middle class here? the true performance cores are the M4 mongoose cores.

                      as far as I remember samsung's schematics. it goes like this.
                      full octa core: Max 70% of the performance.
                      Hexa core mode: max 85% performane.
                      Penta core mode: Full performance.

Either underclock or Overclock. we don't know the frequencies yet of the 8150... so my guess is Underclock. (I got the feeling it'll tick at the same 2.8 GHz frequency.)

                                      Anonymous, 14 Nov 2018Exyons 9810 doesn’t beat A11 it’s in par with A11.Haha that's true~ I mean in CPU raw prowess.
                                      In general performance A11vsE9810 indeed Exynos wins with quite a large margin.
                                      but geekbench wise~?
                                      Exynos:
                                      Single: 3700
                                      Multi: 9000
                                      A11:
                                      Single: 4200
                                      Multi: 10,000
                                      the upcoming 9820 is rumored to have their CPUs 20% (the Mongoose M4 that is) more powerful.
                                      that would mean~: 3700x1.2=4450 or so. and that trumps A11 in raw performance.
                                      THAT'S what I meant. but in general performance that assesses all the components. there's no doubt. 9810 wins in the battle versus A11.
                                      ~~~~~~~~~~~
                                      P.S. I assume the 3 clusters would score:
                                      4400/2300/1200 respectively.
                                      (M4/A75/A55 IN THAT order)
                                        It actually looks far worse than I hoped, especially in GPU department. G76 MP12??? I was expecting something like MP20 so that it would destroy both Snapdragon 845 and Kirin 980, but no, that doesn't seem to be happening here. I'm also sceptical about the custom M4 cores because last gen Exynos 9810 had 4 custom M3 cores that should do far better job than Snapdragon 845 in single-hearted tasks, but failed to show any advantage in real life performance and only the battery life got worse. So this thing should be almost identical to Snapdragon 8150 and Kirin 980 in CPU performance and worse than the Snapdragon in GPU.
                                        Frankly speaking, I expected a whole lot more from a great company like Samsung. At least they didn't cheap out on ISP, that's one good thing.
