If currently you can get a s9 or p20 pro for about half the price of course sales will be down, as good as Apple phones can be what they offer for double the price of other phones is not worth it.

It's wake up call for Apple/Samsung/Sony etc.
When there is cheap alternatives available from China (similar looking devices).
People will think twice to go for pricey iPhone/galaxy/note.
Recently in Canada google was giving buy one pixel 3 (xl too) and another one for 50% off, similarly Samsung Note 9 has 200-300 $ off deals regularly.
I just wonder why can't they sale cheaper when it launch instead of branding with poor sales and then reduce price.

United Stated is where you can get the cheapest iphones on Earth.
Many still buy them because they get cheaper from carriers.
But slowly people all around the world is turning backs on Apple.
All their products are too overpriced.
It is ridiculous when you visit Apple site here, we see iPad that costs equivalent to $4000, iphone XS Max $2700, Macbook $6000.
Low quality stuff like their iphone charging cables, tricks to prevent repair from other shops, lack of innovation.
Devices like S8+, XZ1 and G6 can be found for same price of 6s, way cheaper than i7 32 gb ...
Iphone Xr 64 gb came same price of Note 9 128 gb...

Time for Apple to produce what the average consumer actually wants, and to do it at a comparable price to the competition.
