Again not being an iPhone user or hater, I noticed a few thing
Firstly if Apple are true to form the 5G iPhone will be a minimally tweaked version of the 4G iPhone, also you will pay more for the 5G variant.
A premium was charged by Apple for the iPhone X having faceid above standard iPhone, now in the second year all iPhones have faceid.

If you were on a two year contract for the iPhone 5 4 .0 inch and upgraded you simply received the same phone with a larger display
Faceid is not an improvement over fingerprints certainly not meriting the price hike it double digits percentage wise charged
Apple sold less phones but made more money due to the price the iPhone X charged

I almost forget about the oneplus 6T being released in the US. That pressured them and going to pressure Apple till iPhone 11 is coming out.
I said Apple is going to lose a lot in this year but no one believed me, even a guy was arguing with me in this site.
Apple failed and lost the second spot to Huawei officially

time to go to the roots and made something really inovative...or, try to do it as other brands just always give something new and crapple are stuck to the same design, same look, same "im the best, but im not" and charge more and more for a boring phone.
yeah, people really are open their eyes and see they can buy better for half the price or even 1/3.

I gave up on Apple products after Iphone 7 Plus. For 14 years, the device is exactly the same, with nothing new. The most boring and monotony system. Prices just go higher and higher every year. People just realize it now. I switched on OnePlus6 and never looked back.

The problem is not for US and other developed nations, the biggest problem lies in developing nations sales. First of all $1100 itself is pretty high and on the top of that, in countries like India XS Max costs $1550 for the base variant. What kind of a pricing strategy is this?
In a country where $450 mark is considered as a premium mobile phone market, there you're expecting a phone costing a ridiculous $1550 will sell? Wow, kudos to the Apple management and marketing team!
Samsung's flagship sell way more because they know how the Indian market is! Apple needs to learn!

Analysts and fanboys are like "The new Xs is boring, Apple has to do something innovative" whereas I, as a real customer of apple, really like the Xs, but if I sell my iPhone 7 128GB on eBay for € 300 on eBay, I will still have to pay a whopping € 700 to get the Xs with 64GB, that is almost the same price I paid for my iPhone 7 new 2 years ago in November, and that without selling my old phone. Same story with other Apple products: I want to purchase a new MacBook as my MacBook Air 11 2014 has a small, and relatively underwhelming screen for today's standards. I planned on buying the new Air since like January when rumors appeared that there will be a new low price MacBook for like € 800. Later on, it was said it would be € 1000, I would still be ok with that. I am even ok with 128GB of storage if the price is right. Now that the new MacBook Air is out, it is everything I wanted it to be, modern design, great screen (although it could have been a tad brighter), solid keyboard, enough processing power for my application, fast SSD and even TouchID, it's just as I imagined it to be, it's perfect. But then that price, € 1349 for the 128GB baseline in Germany, that is almost theft. If the price doesn't decrease further on 3rd parties (it currently is € 1210), I will look for the old gen MacBook Pro, the Retina produced from 2012 to 2015, because the newer models have a faulty keyboard.
So overall great products, but the prices are getting out of hand.
