Kiyasuriin, 24 Nov 2018Actually: The avarage GB4.2 Score for Mongoose M3 core is ... moreI share that link because its purely the CPU test: floating point and integer, not the combined with encryption and memory bandwidth.

In that the average of both (int + fp) is 3587 for the exynos vs 4294 on the A11
A 20% increase will give us 4304... which is a 0.02% more than the A11, or a rounding error if you want.
And that's for GB.

On SPEC the average is 26.8 vs 39.76
With the 20% increase it will be at 32.14, or a 23% advantage for the A11

    The avarage GB4.2 Score for Mongoose M3 core is accepted as 3686 points.
    The avarage score for the Apple Monsoon is 4228.
    3686x1.2=4423.
    As far as I know mathematically: 4423>4228.
    Sure. It's a margin of about 4%. But still a for over A11.
    The overall score of CPU+GPU+RAM+UX+I/O is a whole different story. In that sector you're correct.
    (9820vs A11Bionic that is)

It's been delayed so long they could have included a 845 or newer chipset and done something like people think the Nokia 9 five camera will be.

                    The hydrogen does not have a holographic camera, it has an auto 3D rendering display.

                          My point was not to blame Qualcomm for designing a bad set of CPUs, BUT to actually release them.
                          THAT puts a big question mark on their testing/evaluation of new products.
                          Such severe issues OUGHT to have been caught in a test phase, and the product redesigned, or outright killed at birth, rather than released and put in mass production, pestering a huge number of and users, and staining the manufacturers that in good faith designed their products for them. (E.g Blackberry Priv took a lot of beating, that really was QC's fault)...

                          And this is why I'm sceptical on whether their new product could have some nasty surprises for us they failed to find (or react upon)

                              These "3D" display & camera phones are so 2011... The Red Hydrogen One is as much of a fail as the HTC EVO 3D of old... except for HTC that was a big achievement back in the year 2011.
