how about a follow-up to the k-zoom, or throw back in xenon flash and mechanical shutter on smartphones? and please, give back the option for flat screen on flagships!

    I had the S6 & now N9 & I'm happy ;)
But yeah going forward Samsung need to be smart with no gimmicks, no point releasing a subpar 4 cam just to be the 1st.

Remember when Samsung was actually an innovative company and didn't sell us the same phone with a new name every year?

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2019Samsung cant do nothing in 5g, the only company that matter... moreWhy is Huawei the only company good for 5g? That's like saying Samsung is the only good Android phone because it's the biggest seller worldwide.
Huawei does make good phones finally, but guess what the price is now up there with Samsung and iPhone. Funny how the most sought after Huawei is the most expensive...

But then they upgraded screen resolution and battery life went to horrible. S7/8/9/10 will never be able to last as long as the older models, because they use high resolution. Even on samoled, that they also used on s3/4 and 5.

Had the Galaxy S III for a while and it was a great flagship for the time. Probably even one of the first flagships with a 1+ Ghz quad-core CPU if I'm not mistaken.

Gradually it outgrew its price, becoming more and more expensive with each subsequent iteration, until it became out of reach.

Samsung cant do nothing in 5g, the only company that matters is Huawei for 5g. The rest of behind in tech and price.

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2019dude just s*** up, they are most innovative company. You are right that they were! But you need to wake up and see what they have become. Stop eating their grass and move on.

Galaxy will fall soon. SAMSUNG mobile is no longer innovative but just put the outdated SoC in their phones and sell them with a higher price compared to others.

The removal of the dead jack? I just got pie 9.03 today. Had pie a few days after release. And you still want the TV resolution on a tiny screen that still kills battery faster than the battery can live? Dude, you clearly still live in the past.

Zendroid, 12 Jan 2019Why are you telling me to move on, when you are still stuck... moreBecause here's the thing
The tech that Samsung has been working on does impress me
                                  Their displays impress me
And the fact that the Note 9 is getting the Pie update right now impresses me.
They are getting better, and believe me
The minute they do something so incredibly stupid, I immediately criticize them, like the S10 Plus pill

Walter C. Dornez, 12 Jan 2019Here's the thing though. I'm not saying you're completely ... moreWhy are you telling me to move on, when you are still stuck on the fantasy that Samsung will impress you? Maybe you should move on and realize that Samsung won't change to the better.

And no, the Samsung support is the same as in 2012. Xda support is better, that's true. Call Samsung with a problem and you will learn that you actually know better than their own support. S8/+ and s9/+ had smaller batteries than s7 edge. Yes they finally got on the 4000 mah boat, while others are moving closer to 5000 mah. And the security? They are just as full of Spyware as all the others, and just as open to spies as the rest. But yes, they are harder to root and get a smoother Rom.

Zendroid, 12 Jan 2019With Samsung, yes. Everything went bad after s5 and note 3.... moreHere's the thing though.
I'm not saying you're completely wrong.
They took away durability, removable batteries, and the crazy features that made them so cool in the first place.
However, in the end, build quality, software, more useful features, they became better. The Samsung apps are indeed bloatware, but they are more secure. The software support has been getting better. The phones batteries are getting bigger. And now they're focusing on the mid-range. And they make some of the best all rounders.
I understand your view point and get why you dislike Samsung now. But constantly saying that "Oh it was better before" doesn't change a thing. Move on.

Walter C. Dornez, 12 Jan 2019Wow, can you tell the future? If you can't, then tell me ho... moreWith Samsung, yes. Everything went bad after s5 and note 3. The phones can less. Got more stupid. Got more fragile. Better screen on the cost of battery life. Support got worse. Updates got slower. Bloatware got more. Edged screen so guys with big hands can't use it normally.

But yes, Samsung and Apple are good for their loyal sheeps. They doesn't care about the truth, as long it's iPhone or Samsung.
